We listen for water as if it were a distant language spoken through others’ visions, carried by a colleague through telescopes and dust.
Here, what was hidden were our hands—once open, now measuring loss in drops.
Still, there is anticipation— a quiet rebellion of light. The sun insists, every morning, on a different future: one not burned from beneath us, but gathered from above, painterly, endlessly, without conquest.
What if energy did not wound? What if warmth did not cost us each other?
In this work, I hold that question like spring— fragile, unfinished, waiting to be filled.
